Sick, and no appetite? Today my boyfriend Mike was sick and had no appetite to eat anything, so I made him a healthy, and very nutritious smoothie to get some much needed veggies and fruit into him. Loaded with vitamins, nutrients and antioxidants, this smoothie is super green and fit for a super-hero with it’s superstar ingredient line-up (that’s a whole lotta ‘super’ packed into one smoothie). This smoothie was a random creation, and is packed with calcium, iron, manganese, potassium, vitamins A, B6, C and K. It is super high in iron and protein thanks to the superstars also known as kale, spinach and chard. The green grapes and kiwis bring forth their contribution by providing lots of fiber, vitamin C and potassium too. The almond butter gives the smoothie a delicious nutty taste…mmmm.

All in all, this green superfood smoothie will definitely give you an energy boost – sick or not (and it’s really delicious too).Β Will definitely make again.
