Breakfast Fruit Smoothie




Started my day off right with a delicious breakfast fruit smoothie. Fruit smoothies are an excellent way to get your required servings of fruit. Fruit is full of fiber and has so many health benefits for your body too. I’m a big fan of berries not only because of the taste, (though that is a large part of it) but also because they are loaded with antioxidants. Smoothie goodness, at its finest! To complete my breakfast, I had a slice of light rye bread with light laughing cow cheese spread. Nom nom!


1 banana, chopped

1 fresh kiwi, sliced

approx. 5-6 fresh pineapple chunks

about 10 red seedless grapes

handful of fresh blueberries

handful of frozen dark cherries, black berries, pomegranate and blue berries

1/3 cup coconut almond milk

toppings: chia seeds, unsweetened coconut
