Raw Vegan Smoothie Bowl

I decided to try a smoothie bowl today, after getting inspiration from some of my favourite Instagram accounts (see below to check out these accounts). After seeing so many enticing pictures of smoothie bowls, I decided to try making one of my own. The possibilities are endless, and you can top with whatever you like. This smoothie bowl was so sweet and refreshing! A great way to get some servings of fruit in, and to change your breakfast up a bit. So what’s in this that is good for you? Lots of vitamin K, B12 & B6, manganese, potassium, protein, dietary fiber, copper and almost no fat. Since this is sweet, I had some water with fresh mint leaves to quench my thirst. So refreshing…Yum!

I get a lot of my inspiration from Instagram (my favourite app, ever!). Some of my favourite clean eating accounts (many of which happen to be raw and/or vegan– though I don’t live a fully raw, or vegan lifestyle) include:

2 frozen bananas

1 cup red seedless grapes

4 medjool dates, pitted

3 cups water

toppings: chia seeds, goji berries, raw almonds, raw pecan pieces, fresh kiwi, unsweetened coconut
