Juicing provides you with the juice of the fruit/vegetable, which is said to contain most of the vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients. Just remember though, that you also need to eat whole fruits and vegetables to get all of the healthy and beneficial fibres that you often loose when juicing, due to the skins (that are so rich in fibre) of the fruit and vegetables being removed or discarded during the juicing process.

1. Beet Juice
Beets are super good for you. They are high in betalains – this is also what gives beets their rich pigment, giving them a beautiful, vibrant hue. In terms of health benefits, beets provide antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and detoxification support to our bodies. Beets are also high in folate, manganese, potassium and copper to name a few nutrients. In terms of taste, beets are very strong flavoured and bold. When juicing beets (which will give you the maximum health benefit of the beet as it is in its raw form) it’s good to add in citrus fruits to sub-due the strong taste (unless of course you like the taste of beets on their own).
2 medium beets
1 Macintosh apple (or apple of your choice)

2. Carrot Juice
Carrots do wonders for your eyes, skin and have powerful prevention properties (such as prevention against cancer, anti-aging, heart disease and infection). Not only are they super good for you, but they taste super good too as they are so naturally sweet. Carrots are incredibly high in vitamin A, K, and biotin. Eat carrots for all of these reasons – your eyes, skin and overall health will thank you! Add in some ginger and maca powder and BOOM, energy kick for sure. Pro tip: carrots have the highest content of beta carotene and vitamin A in comparison to other vegetables.
