Green smoothies are life. Who needs coffee when you have green smoothies? I don’t. Neither do you. Energizing, filling, and delicious. A great way to get a serving of fruit in as well as some iron. Super easy. It takes like, 2 minutes. Maybe less. You can get all complicated with your green smoothie and add avocado for creaminess, or chia seeds and hemp hearts. However, this is my go-to smoothie and my boyfriend and I drink it everyday, sometimes multiple times a day.
1/2 cup – 1 cup fresh baby spinach (rinsed of course)
1 ripe banana (ripe when spotty, mmm!)
1/4 cup fresh pineapple OR pineapple OR apple juice (natural)
2-3 ice cubes
So yeah, just throw it all in your single serve blender cup – it’s perfect for a single serving and so much easier to clean which will entice you to make these more. Blend that sh*t up and enjoy!
